We left the Buckhorn Lake anchorage early to get to the blue line dock to go through Lock 32 at Buckhorn. We spotted a sister ship PDQ locking through the other way and stopped to chat and they gave us some good info about Whitby where the boats were built. We cooked breakfast waiting for the lock and then cruised through to lock through Lock 32 at Bobcaygeon. The lock tender said this cute town should not be missed. So we had a pleasant morning cruising on the lake to get there. We found a great spot at the end of the wall in the shade with a breeze. We set out for the brewery but stopped instead for lunch. We then wandered through the drug store and supermarket before heading to the biggest shoe store at Bigley Market. Next stop was to the hardware store on the way to Kawartha Dairy factory for cheese and a scoop of ice cream. We stopped by the visitor center near the lock and found a trail to take tomorrow if it does not rain all day.

| We had poutine and some of the Old Dog Brewery beers from down the street here |
On Thursday morning we waited out the wind and rain and then headed to the Laundromat. We loaded up the washers and then went across the street to Old Dog Brewing Company for a couple beers. Glenn went on to the hardware store across the canal as I finished laundry. We bought some bread at the bakery and cooked dinner on the boat before heading down to the lock pavilion to listen to the band. It was great music, chilly out and the rain started up just as the band was finishing.
