We cooked breakfast and seeing that the other catamaran anchored with us had departed we pulled anchor and headed through McLean Bay, McDonald's Cut and on to Lock 43 Swift Rapids. We locked through with a sailboat with his mast on deck. We passed Lost Channel headed for Lock 44 Big Chute. We pulled up to the blue line dock with the catamaran several boats in front of us. We watched the big chute unload boats and then watched them load up the catamaran last. We had two boats in front of us and they easily put us in the sling and away we went out of the water, over the road and down the slope to the basin where we started our engines and were on our way. We chose to stop and anchor in Gloucester Pool off Herb Island. We watched several boats continued on to the last lock at Port Severn. We had a beautiful peaceful evening and glad to be close to the end of the canal.
