Young's Point to Mile 120.7 Buckhorn Lake anchorage, Ontario, Canada

We cooked breakfast waiting for the Islandview Resort Marina fuel dock to open at 9 am. We were their first customer for a pump out and water tank fill up as their diesel pump had broken down and repair was not working. We continued on through narrow Hell's Gate and Stony Lake and got a glimpse of Burleigh Falls approaching Lock 28 at Burleigh Falls. It used to be a double lock but with updating now there is no lock 29. We went on through Lock 30 Lovesick  which is on an island. The lockmaster told us there was an oil spill in the next Lock an hour away so it was temporarily closed and traffic was backed up. We did see boats coming our way but decided to anchor at a marked anchorage in a nice cove before the lock. It was a pretty spot with a bald eagles nest above us with the birds chortling. We had a pleasant evening as there are few opportunities so far to anchor out.
