We pulled anchor and Glenn's phone siren anchor alarm went off as we got underway spooking a paddle boarder with his dog who was waiting to see what direction we were headed. We got to the nearby drawbridge early for the first 9:15 am opening of the day. The next drawbridge we had to wait 10 minutes for mechanic to get out of the engine room and then the next railroad bridge luckily was in the open position otherwise it only opened for 10 minutes every hour. For the last drawbridge we took down the radar arch so we could go under. Amazingly as we turned up the intracoastal in Atlantic City we saw Second Time Around who had been on the dock with us in Cape May but she did not respond when we hailed them and it might have been since our antennae was down. We found our anchorage in Broad Creek to eat lunch and wait several hours for the tide to swing. It is another sunny cool day and breezier than forecast.
