We enjoyed our morning walk to breakfast and shopping around waiting for the mid to rising tide to leave Cape May. We pulled away from the dock and slowly went past the Coast Guard station anchorage and then turned into the intracoastal, It is very well marked with additional huge floating no wake buoys. Even at our cruising speed of 7 knots we make minimal wake but we did slow down because most of the way we had current with us pushing us along. In most areas houses lined the beach side and marshes spread out along the other shore. We went past Ocean City where there was marked jet ski race course. We continued on to a beautiful cove in Ventnor City. We are surrounded by houses on one side and marsh filled with birds make for a very pleasant evening. Only two abandoned boats anchored here. We take off in the morning for the short ten mile run to Atlantic City, New Jersey.
