We got a really early start in time to see the sun rise over Brunswick, Georgia as we head to Savannah. We played the tides for all the troublesome areas like Little Mud River, Florida Passage, and Hell Gate. With a seven-foot tide swing it makes a difference, especially in a sailboat but we still have that mentality for avoiding shallow water. We passed by Isle of Hope Marina on our way to Herb Creek. There is one other motor yacht we passed earlier that pulled into a marina that is now anchored behind us. The Mother's Day boat traffic has calmed down at sunset. The yellow flies have settled under our bimini but are not biting or bothering us. We had threatening rain clouds that moved on with just a few sprinkles as we anchored. We head to Port Royal Landing Marine tomorrow for two nights to wait for a mail shipment.
