Havre De Grace back to Sassafras River outside Lloyd Creek and thenTurner Creek near Georgetown, Maryland

We loved our final walk around the waterfront of Havre de Grace before we left the dock at Tidewater Maina and headed down the Susquehanna River out into the bay passing Elk River that runs up to C&D Canal to Delaware and across the ship channel to return to the Sassafrass River. We intended to anchor up at Turner Creek but there were more boats there so we ended up returning to outside Lloyd Creek where we can walk the beach and then go up to the State Park later by dinghy.

Getting crowded
Another stunning sunset
We woke up early and moved the boat outside Turner Creek and hopped in the dinghy to explore. We found the boat launch and dock at Turner Landing We finished our coffee under the picnic pavilion and then headed to the trailhead. We did a short loop and then came back to the road and walked to the visitor center and Kent Museum both of them closed, We found the trailhead where it intersected the road and did the loop picking blackberries on the return trip. Back to the dinghy and with the AllTrails map we found the trailhead on the beach and left the dinghy to do the River Trail Loop. After we got back to the big boat, both of the other two anchored boats had left so we headed out the Sassafras River into the Bay and back to Still Pond anchorage,
