After a great morning exploring the mangroves, we headed back to the boat and decided to move over to Shell Key. It is also a protected island preserve. We followed a trawler who took the mooring next to us. We enjoyed a lazy afternoon sitting in the shade and breeze on the flybridge reading our books. We watched a beautiful sunset and later a gorgeous full moon.

On Easter Sunday, we circled Shell Key in the dinghy. We went ashore at Islamorada Fish Company and enjoyed a baked shrimp dip and fish and chips with our Iguana Bait draft beers. We stopped in at the Bass Pro Shop after we walked down to the Sunday Farmer's Market. We also hiked the trail at Greet Turtle Hammock Park which had a kayak launch and a dinghy dock off a narrow channel out to the waterfront. All around us are grass flats that are marked that you must go around so it was a long ride back to the boat.
