Boot Key Harbor back to Ligumvitae Key

We got up early to let loose of the mooring ball and head back north to Ligumvitae Key. We wanted another breakfast at Robbie's Marina and to take the dinghy through the mangroves to Lower Matacumbe Key. Two moorings were filled when we arrived and we are back on the same mooring. We had a bit of a headwind but it should be light wind for several days. We had a few rain sprinkles and hope to get more rain tonight to rinse off the deck.

Not sure what the buoys are marking but makes a good perch

No engines are allowed on grass flats so saw two boats poling along

After the storm blew through last evening, we had a pleasant evening as the jet skiers had left. This morning we headed to Robbie's for another excellent breakfast. Enormous tarpon in a thick school was at the dinghy dock with plenty of tourists feeding them. Afterward, we took a mangrove channel over from the main channel and it was a kayaker's paradise. We followed it until it narrowed and finally ended. We finally saw many large snook, more tarpon, and snapper but only the barracuda were biting. We headed back to the boat for a beer and as the wind picked up we decided to move to Shell Key.
The huge tarpon were rolling and jumping for the bait
