On Monday morning, we took the dinghy into the State Park dock and walked the trails from Deep Bay to Middle Bay to Short Point to the beach where it started raining on us. We came back by the Nature Center via the paved bike trail and the rain stopped as we got back to the dock. We pulled anchor and headed up Lake Champlain crossing over to the Vermont side. We passed by Burlington and Shelburne and anchored in Shelburne Bay. It started raining again as we dropped anchor across from the Shelburne Town Mooring field. We watched the rain clouds move all around us and it was chilly enough on the flybridge to have our jackets on. There are four Canadian sailboats anchored at the two other anchorages near here in the bay so it should be a quiet evening. There is a dock where we can walk to Shelburne Farms which also has hiking trails.

On Tuesday morning after eating breakfast on the flybridge, we took the dinghy into the Shelburne City Mooring Field dock and took the path to the park. From there it was a half mile walk along the road to Shelburne Farms. We visited the farm store and then took the path across the field and through the woods to the farm barn. We stopped for a great burger at the food truck and then visited the farm animals, the wood shop, the cheese making factory and the bakery. we decided to walk to the orchard, garden and flower gardens at the inn another day. We headed back to the boat and loaded up the dinghy and headed to Safe Harbour Shelburne Shipyard.
