We had a leisurely departure from Tidewater Marina going to Vintage Cafe for breakfast and then taking a long marina shower before pulling away from the dock. We headed across the bay and up the Elk River and then turning up the Bohemia River to anchor off off Bohemia Manor Farm Vineyard and Wintery. There was construction in front of their dock and no beach to land a dinghy so we wandered across the river and docked the dinghy at Safe Harbour Hack Point boat launch dock. We walked up and over the bridge and walked along the fence line of the vineyards to make our way to the tasting room. We chose the flight of three red wines and a spinach artichoke dip and had a great view of the anchorage.
