The anchorage filled up with boats and on Saturday morning most had departed. We looked at the weather and it looked like the best we had seen for a week to travel through the canal and down the Delaware Bay into the Cape May Canal to Cape May in New Jersey. There was minimal traffic and with the wind and current with us we had a two knot push along. We saw several sea turtles and porpoises along with horse shoe crabs. We are anchored up the Cape May Canal past the ferry terminal and most of the marinas alongside the Coast Guard Station, There is a no wake zone along the channel which is mainly honored so we are here for the night along with a row of boats.
