Irvington to Jackson Creek Marina, Deltaville, VIrginia

After a delicious corned beef hash and eggs breakfast on the boat, we pulled anchor and headed back down the Rappahannock River and under the bridge. We turned into the channel to explore the multiple marinas at Stingray Point which is the other side of Deltaville from Jackson Creek off the Piankatank River. We rounded the point and headed up the Piankatank River before turning into Jackson Creek and the marina next to Deltaville Boatyard, We were hot at the dock waiting for a pumpout and fuel before returning to our slip with now a huge catamarn on the bulkhead next to us. The air conditioning was welcoming as we spend our last day tomorrow here in Deltaville before we drive to Valparaiso.

A classic beauty at Stingray Point Marina

Stingray Point Lighthouse is now at the Stingray Point Marina
We did our last sightseeing around Deltaville and then spent the rest of the day Tuesday getting the boat ready to leave at the dock before we drove home with Pam and Bob to Valparaiso. We spent a week there getting ready to fly to London for a month hiking England and Ireland with Road Scholar. We will return to Deltaville in October with Cutie Too to haul the boat into Deltaville Boatyard for the winter before returning in the spring to head north to the Great Lakes and Canada,
