We waited for the rain to pass on Thursday and left the dock with Pam and Bob on board headed around Stingray Point and up the Rappahannock River up Urbanna Creek to Urbanna. We were the only boat in the anchorage for most of our visit except for a derelict boat on a mooring. We headed ashore to the Urbanna Town dinghy dock after a tour of the harbour and up the hill to the Visitor Center. We had a great tour of the museum and the huge historic map. We headed downtown and went as far as the cafe Where the Sidewalk Ends and then back to Something Different for homemade ice cream. Our last stop was the old general store of Bristows for a step back in time. We had an enjoyable happy hour and dinner on the boat.
