Another seemingly chilly morning and breezy until the winds died down after lunch. We had another PDQ Catamaran come circle us and we said hello to Headway from Massachusetts. We left one sailing catamaran in the anchorage and we headed out into Buttonwood Sound. We went a short distance and headed off the Intracoastal to anchor off Butternut Key. The three small sandy beaches on the mangrove island were made of tons of tiny shells. The other sandy beach on the next key was posted with signs not to wade or land as it is protected wildlife by the Everglades National Park.
