We had breakfast up on the flying bridge and then jumped right into boat projects. Glenn got the new air conditioner installed in the salon and just waiting to figure out where to install the thermostat controls as they changed the size. I tackled scrubbing out the lockers on the flying bridge and then started going through the lockers on the front deck with Glenn throwing away the unnecessary items. Then a thunderstorm surprised us so we scurried putting stuff away on the deck and headed below.. We started going through a collection of stuff stored in citrus fruit salad plastic containers previously stored in a locker under the floor and salvaged the good stuff and sorted it and placed it in labeled containers. So we are just two lockers short of going through all the stuff left on the boat by the previous owners and hoping to finish up before we get hauled Monday afternoon. The haul out went smoothly and we are now back in the water as of Friday.. We started by touching up the bottom with green bottom paint where there was no paint left and then put on two coats of black bottom paint. Glenn cleaned the props and rudders with muriatic acid and then we put two coats of primer on and two coats of teal green hard bottom paint. I scrubbed the boat topside top to bottom including cushions and fenders. Glenn installed stainless steel supports for dinghy davits and will for solar panels. Glenn got the deck shower replaced and the deck wash connection repaired. We had thunderstorms every day but we set up our outdoor kitchen with our instant pot and air fryer and our Engel plug in cooler with our lawn chairs and we were set. We slept on the Cabo Rico sailboat with air conditioning as the temperatures hovered around 100. Glad to be back on the water and heading south.
