Cocoa Beach to Titusville

It was great being the only boat in the anchorage last evening. We cooked pepperoni pesto flatbread pizzas in our microwave/convection oven for dinner last night and by the second personal pizza, we had the crust crispy. We had a pleasant sleep and pulled anchor and ate breakfast underway. We slipped under the NASA causeway drawbridge and before we knew it we were heading past Titusville City Marina and decided to get a pump-out in preparation for our haul out. We headed to our favorite spot at the t-dock around from the boat lift. Our German friends on Toraga are being hauled out Monday morning and we will follow on Monday afternoon. They finally have a flight back home to Germany. We made our trip to Walmart and Ace Hardware and the storage shed before the thunderstorm moved in with the darkest clouds and the most rain we have seen this week. Glenn was busy disconnecting the old air conditioner in the salon as I continued to stow the last stuff from the storage shed. Glenn made a delicious northern bean, ham, peppers and spinach soup in the instant pot on the flybridge and we enjoyed happy hour and dinner in spite of a gentle rain The impatient folks have been shooting fireworks for hours and it is not even dark yet. Happy Fourth of July and cool sleeping tonight at the dock with AC and plenty of power.
