West Palm Beach to Pompano Beach, Florida

We could not believe it was 70 degrees at 8 am this morning so Glenn put his shorts and flips on. It was still overcast and breezy on the flybridge as we set off to go under 15 drawbridges. We called it quits at 3 pm and anchored for the first time in Santa Barbara Lake across from Lettuce Lake before another low bridge at Commercial Boulevard. We found more current than expected and the boats are dancing in the wind but it should be a good overnight spot. There are nine more bridges to where we had intended to stop for the night at Haulover Canal. Tomorrow, tomorrow. We are anchored next to The Naked Truth with their tender named Little Lie. There are ten other boats in the anchorage.
