Eau Galle to Titusville, Florida

It was wonderful to meet up with my sister for breakfast at Oh Biscuit. They have great biscuits and home made cinnamon buns and great outdoor dining.  We had a sunshine rain shower as we headed back to the boat and took off for Titusville. With a chance of thunderstorm tomorrow we have taken a mooring at Titusville City Marina for tonight and then plan to head to the dock at Westland Marina on Thursday and get hauled out into Westland Boat Yard on Friday for hurricane season.

Vero Beach to Eau Galle, Florida

We headed ashore to Cravings Cafe with sidewalk dining along the ocean drive in Vero Beach. I had the best avocado toast breakfast. It was a nice walk back to the boat and as we left the mooring field we were able to hail Cookie Monster on the way out who had recently returned from the Bahamas. We had a nice cruise to Eau Galle and anchored off of Squid Lips near the dinghy dock and library. We were alerted to the starlink launch as we spotted the rocket and vapor trail as we reached the dock.  A short walk to Ace Hardware and then off to my sister's for dinner. We enjoyed a homemade pizza on a sultry hot evening even too hot to sit outside near the pool.

Peck Lake to Vero Beach, Florida

We left Peck Lake headed for Vero Beach City Marina. It was an easy trip going under the one drawbridge at Fort Pierce. We stopped at the fuel dock for diesel, water, a pump out and to dump garbage and then grabbed a mooring ball all by itself in a perfect spot. The wind had cranked up and was really blowing and now Glenn and I are tied for each of us having lost a hat overboard that could not be saved. We headed ashore and walked to the beach and the waves were wild. We had picked out an Italian restaurant with outdoor seating but they said a private party had booked all the outside seats so our backup was Casey's Place for a burger, fries and a beer with all outdoor seating. We followed that with a trip to a nearby gourmet shop for more beer and then back to the boat.
