We headed out to fish around the causeway bridge and a kayaker fisherman was in the perfect spot so we trolled past him. There was still too much current to find a good fishing spot although we tried and then continued on back up where we had been anchored and then up Steamboat Creek and through to the other side. Fishermen were out and about the couple bridges. We headed back to the boat for lunch and then decided to mosey down to Pumpkin Key towing the dinghy. There is one sailboat anchored on the other side. This should be good protection tonight from the winds. The sailboat regatta is heading back towards Miami. No luck fishing but a beautiful day to be out. A small catamaran sailed past asking for help with cruising guide to the keys so we dinghied over for happy hour and left them with one of our extra cruising guides to get them out Angelfish Pass and down to Duck Key.
