We were glad to get into the dock ahead of the rain and woke up to misty rain. We walked ashore to check out the facilities and then jumped in our car for a road trip to the downtown historic hardware established in 1952. Our next stop was Ace Hardware and then decided to take a road trip to Crawfordville about 20 miles away to the Walmart. We detoured through Lanark Village with World War II barracks that have been renovated into a cute neighborhood. We drove the scenic Big Bend Trail stopping at Ochlockonee State Park to check out the campground and take a hike along the river. Continuing on through historic Sopchoppy until we found Rumors Coffeehouse for a latte in Crawfordville before shopping at the busy Walmart. Our route back was through historic Panacea before stopping at Harry's Package Store for some Baileys Irish cream to go with our fresh Florida strawberries for Valentine's Day.
