The crowd of boats left after the fireworks display last night and then it was a quiet night. We left Chestertown anchorage on Wednesday morning early and followed a sailboat down the Chester River. We headed out into the Chesapeake Bay with calm wind and seas. We passed by Tolchester Marina where we used to keep our sailboat and then up to Still Pond. This was our Friday night anchorage when we lived in Havre de Grace as a quick escape in our trawler, Inside the cove are several rafts of small powerboats anchored on the beach and there are three other trawlers. We have anchored out in the middle hoping to catch a breeze. We have been listening and watching the bald eagles soar overhead.
