King's Bay to Shell Island, Crystal River, Florida

After our shopping, we pulled anchor and headed to Pete's Pier Marina for diesel fuel and water. We then headed back down the river to anchor at Shell Island at the mouth of the Crystal River. It turned out to be a perfect spot for staging to head south in the gulf to Tarpon Springs in the morning.
